Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the stimulation of specific points along energetic pathways using hair-thin needles. This stimulates the nervous system to release endorphins and neurotransmitters including dopamine and serotonin. It also increases local blood supply to release muscle tension. In Chinese medical terms, acupuncture ‘moves Qi and Blood.’
Acupuncture is the stimulation of specific points along energetic pathways using very tiny needles. This stimulation promotes the free flow of the body’s vital life energy, Qi, which releases blockages that are precursors to pain and disease.
All acupuncture needles are sealed and sterile before use and immediately disposed. They are single-use only.
Amanda’s favourite thing about acupuncture is the measurable, physical results seen in her patients and the mental-emotional transformations that follow with regular and seasonal treatments.
